REIGN OF HONOR

Welcome to Reign Of Honor Pledge

Retiring

Well, I have found that I just don't have time to maintain a pledge. I've been extremely lucky to have members that were very patient with the amount of time I can be on lately; but, I think it's just not fair to members to not see their royal very much. We have decided to move to Unicorn bp. Myrdin, the Unicorn royal, has played a long time and many of my members know him well. I'm sad to see ROH go because I have been so blessed with such a great group that never ever seems to have immature scabbles. This group has been the best by far that I have ever seen in a bp. Over the past 3 months, I think I have only had to intervene twice in outside problems and those were due to language barriers. Yet, even with such a great group of respectable ppl, I just do not have the time in my real life to be on enough. This group deserves more than that. I do plan to play my elf some after I take a break and catch up real life things. So, I will still see you all around sometimes.

Why We Are Here

This pledge was created for the mature player that doesn't like pledge wars and pvp who just wants to level; but more than that, this pledge was created for the players who want to play but can't live on Lineage. We have many players who come maybe a few times a week or even once a week. So many players love the game but have real lives that don't allow them to play everyday. We come home from work, cook dinner, walk the dog, etc... and find that we can't always log on.

I tell my members that you might log on and be the only one online or you might log on and have a house full. This pledge was designed for the person who doesn't care about numbers, but instead just wants to play.

Most pledges don't keep these kinds of players for that reason. I, Ladysan, have so many friends that I have known on this game for many years that I have seen come and go. A lot of them quit because when they can play, they find no community accepting them. Well, we do. :)

What We Expect From Our Members

The basic rule for ROH members is to behave like a mature person. You can be 10 or 50 and act like a hothead; so, age doesn't matter. The concept is to think of your fellow bpmates by not using foul language, not random pking, and not starting a fight whenver someone acts rude. We think of how these things influence our fellow bp mates and are mature enough to just walk away from provocative situations; ALTHOUGH, when the line is crossed we are not afraid to stand up and fight.

About Our Members

Some of us have played this server, LOA, since it was created. Some came a little later; but, ALL of us know how to play the game to the fullest. We have a range of levels varying from level 30+ to level 65. Our members under 48 are usually long time players who decided to make other characters to experience a change.

Our ages are mostly 20+ with the majority 30+. Our nationalities are diverse also with the majority actually not being from the USA. We have members from Spain, China, Canada, Japan, USA, and Taiwan. Pledge chat can be quite interesting sometimes between the spanish and the chinese. I can speak Spanish but I am very lucky to have a Chinese speaking translater in the bp that helps me enormously with that.

ROH History

Reign of Honor was created on day one of the LOA server, December 2nd, 2002. We had a bp on the dep server but after a bp vote, changed the name to ROH and all moved to the LOA server. I made my princess, Ladysan, charisma because we had an enormous pledge, as well as, two subpledges. We had a huge alliance with about seven pledges called RTA, Round Table Alliance. We usually owned IGG, Kent, Giran, and Heine between the different allies.

Adeleide from LOA, Legends of Aden, bp and myself created RTA with the philosophy that all the bps in RTA no matter how strong or how weak, would have a voice and would get to own a castle as we each rotated turns. This philosophy came out of our disgust from playing the dep server where the castles were basically locked up by certain bps. There wasn't a chance at all for a new bp to come along and possibly own a castle.

About 9 months into the server, I was going through a divorce so decided to quit the game. Ladygodiva/Ladyhawke took over the pledge at that point. She and I lost contact so I am not sure what happened but it is my understanding that she quit and now plays WOW.

I came back the first time about a year later and eventually restarted the bp. Sweetwater had the ROH named tied up so I had to use ReignOfAden. We messed around with remaking RTA but some of the bps in it didn't agree with the RTA philosophy where all the RTA bps get to eventually own a castle. Ppl like princenismo in RTA at the time felt like the most powerful should own the castle the most. This was not what RTA was created for so it didn't work and we ended RTA.

Then came the hack/item theft. I wasn't seiging anymore but just playing and one day I logged on and had no items. Can't express the amount of devastation a person feels when this happens to them. Especially when you have played since day one and worked very hard for everything you have. I tried to hang on and to find some motivation but I just couldn't. So, in August 2004, I disbanned and quit.

Sad to say that I know exactly who took all my items and believe it or not part of it was my own stupidity. I had given two of my friends my password. BIG MISTAKE!! Themanimal was one of them and believe it or not he actually whispered me in Feb. this year saying how sorry he was.

So anyways, I came back this past Spring just to play my elf More later GTG
